BY USING ANY OF THE BORNEO CALLING TOUR SERVICE, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS OF USE, PLEASE UNDERSTAND YOU CANNOT USE ANY OF THE BORNEO CALLING TOUR SERVICE.

For General Tours:

1. All tours quoted by Borneo Calling will be valid for a limited time period of 14 days from the date issued or validity period stated, whichever is earlier. If no confirmation is received with the time period, Borneo Calling reserves the right to re-quote the price of the tour.
2. A 50% deposit is required for booking confirmation and the balance must be paid 01 month prior to tour commencement, or date stated, whichever earlier. Note that bookings are not confirmed nor secure until Borneo Calling receives this deposit.
3. For short-term reservation made less than 01 month prior to tour commencement, immediate 100 % full payment required.
4. Borneo Calling reserves the right to release or cancel any bookings being held where the required deposit has not been received by the due date without prior notice.
5. If Borneo Calling receives a booking cancellation prior to the final payment date of your tour commencement date, your non-refundable deposit will be retained, and cancellation charges will be imposed. * Cancellation on / more than (30) days prior arrival : 50% of Tour Cost will be charged * Cancellation on (15 – 29) days prior arrival : 75% of Tour Cost will be charged * Cancellation on (04 – 14) days prior arrival : 90% of Tour Cost will be charged * Cancellation on / less than (03) days prior arrival or No Show : 100% of Tour Cost will be charged
6. For tour products or individual components supplied by 3rd parties, e.g. Air Tickets, Hotel/Lodge Bookings, etc, cancellation fees under the terms and conditions of the respective 3rd parties shall apply plus a minimum handling charge of RM50 per service per person.



For Mount Kinabalu Climbing Tours (Normal climbing & Via ferrata package):

1. If Borneo Calling receives a booking cancellation prior to the final payment date of your tour commencement date, your non-refundable deposit will be retained, and cancellation charges will be imposed.Cancellation on / more than (60) days prior arrival : Deposit will be ForfeitedCancellation on / less than (01-59) days prior arrival : 100% of Tour Cost will be charged
2. Borneo Calling reserves the right to release or cancel any bookings being held where the required deposit has not been received by the due date without prior notice.
3. Deposit made are strictly No Refund, No Change of Climbing Date and No Change of Nationality. Change of climber’s name are subject to an amendment service charges of RM 50.00 nett/pax. (Apply for normal climbing and via ferrata package only)
4. Balance must be paid 02 months prior to tour commencement. Note that bookings are not confirmed nor secured until Borneo Calling receives this deposit. * Normal Mount Kinabalu Climbing – A 50% deposit is required for booking confirmation * Mount Kinabalu Via Ferrata Climbing – A 75% deposit is required for booking confirmation 
5. All bank charges (if any), via telegraphic transfer should be borne by client. 
6. Payment of the booking fee and reservations for the tour means that you have read, agreed and accepted our booking Terms & Conditions policy, itinerary, inclusions & exclusions stated in tour quotation/email/website or other means. 
7. For short-term reservation made less than 02 months prior to tour commencement, immediate 100 % full payment required. 
8.Any amendments on 60 days prior to the arrival date after full payment made will be subjected to the following;i) Malaysian changed to International.– Climber have to pay the difference in rate.ii) International changed to Malaysian.– Rate(s) will remain.
9. A mandatory pre-activity briefing sessions are conducted daily between 3pm and 4pm in Pendant Hut. This briefing session is COMPULSORY and cannot be missed. The exact meeting point and meeting times for the activities will be told here. During this session, all participants will be taken through the steps from your hike up to the summit, from wearing the harness to working the carabiners. Late arrivals who fail to comply with the timing may not be considered eligible to participate in Via Ferrata activity in the next morning. No reimbursement shall be made.
10. Via Ferrata climbers must arrived at activity's starting point on time. Climbers who fail to comply with the timing are not allowed to participate in via ferrata activity. No reimbursement shall be made.
11. In the event of bad weather, the planned activities can and will be cancelled due to safety reason. No reimbursement shall be made. 
12. For budget climbing packages : No change of date, no change of name or no cancellation allowed. Budget climbing package based on Join-In basis. (Sharing transportation & mountain guide)
